Dear patients and caregivers,
Talking about stressful, emotional, or deeply personal topics can be difficult—especially for children and adolescents. It often becomes easier when patients can express themselves in the language that feels most natural to them.
As I am half British and grew up bilingual, I am happy to offer child and adolescent psychiatric consultations in English. This can be especially helpful for English-speaking children, teenagers, and families who feel more comfortable discussing their thoughts, feelings, worries, and experiences in English.
On a personal note, I also simply enjoy speaking English and am always glad for the opportunity to keep this part of myself alive in my everyday work.
My aim is to create a setting in which patients feel understood and able to communicate openly. For some, that means using their primary language; for others, it may simply mean choosing the language in which they can best describe what they are going through.

Cancellation policy
To help as many families as possible, please keep your appointments or – if something comes up – cancel at least 48 hours in advance by e-mail to praxis@kjp-drstadler.at.
Appointments that are not cancelled or cancelled too late will be charged a cancellation fee: EUR 150 for the first appointment (initial consultation or assessment) and EUR 100 for follow-up appointments. First appointments in particular are booked far in advance – slots that become free at short notice cannot be reassigned, and families on the waiting list have to wait unnecessarily longer. If a first appointment is missed without cancellation and without a reason, no further appointment will be offered.
An appointment is only confirmed once the signed cancellation fee agreement has been returned. The cancellation fee is not reimbursed by health insurance.

Finding the practice
The practice is located on the first floor of the Lentia shopping centre. The closest entrance is at Blütenstraße 15.
Inside, you will find us opposite Hofer and Zushi Market, between Sonnentor and Reformhaus Martin. Please look for a silver fire door – our practice sign, in the colours of our homepage, is on the right side of the door frame. View the floor plan.
By public transport: From the main train station, take tram line 3 or 4 to the stop “Biegung”. From there it is about 200 metres to the entrance of the Lentia shopping centre with gold lettering (Blütenstraße 15).
By car: The entrance to the Lentia parking garage is on Gstöttnerhofstraße. The first 2 hours are free of charge.
